Numbness of hands and feet

Nowadays, people often experience symptoms such as numbness and pain in the hands and feet. Most people usually think that it is a problem with blood circulation. If the numbness and pain in the hands and feet have continued for a while, then you should be careful because it is likely related to the cervical and lumbar spine. Therefore, you should check as soon as possible, find out the cause of the disease as soon as possible, and give appropriate treatment to prevent the disease from becoming more serious.

Due to fatigue, degeneration, accidents, etc., the cervical and lumbar vertebrae can become misaligned or the intervertebral disc can get herniated,  which causes compression of the cervical and lumbar nerves, resulting in numbness of the hands and feet. Each cervical and lumbar nerve is connected to different parts of the hands and feet. For example, compression of the seventh cervical nerve usually causes numbness of the outer arm; the sixth cervical nerve is connected to the inner arm; compression of the fifth lumbar nerve will cause numbness of the outer foot or the first three toes. In order to determine the source of the problem, patients can undergo X-ray or MRI examinations under the guidance of doctors.
