Bad posture is often the culprit of spinal problems, and hunchback is one of the most common spinal conditions found in children.  It is caused by bad ergonomics, long-term incorrect, and uneven sitting, studying, or sleeping positions. Over time, the cervical spine and head will tilt forward, and the thoracic spine will move backward, resulting in a hump-like spine. From a medical point of view, when a person stands up, looking from the side, the ears, shoulders, hip joints, knees, and feet should form a straight line. This is the standard. If you want to determine whether you have cold back more accurately, just take an X-ray.

The bones of children are very delicate. When suffering from hunchback, the body will get used to the hunchback posture. The cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine and pelvis will develop in to a hunched position. If the habit of hunchback lasts for more than ten years and the child is around sixteen years old, the hunchback will be more difficult to correct!

How to treat?

(1) Spinal Stretch using decompression table

A hunchback is usually caused by the cervical spine leaning forward and the thoracic spine (back) protruding backward. To improve this problem, it is necessary to use an Spine decompression table to systematically and continuously stretch the spine, and then use the appropriate angle adjusted for patients with hunchback to stretch the cervical spine backward to regain the normal arc and stretch the thoracic spine forward to improve the hunchback caused by the protrusion.

(II) Manual manipulation of spinal misalignment

The formation of hunchback will lead to spinal misalignment. In addition to using stretching beds or exercises to improve, the most important thing is to use the unique method of "spinal correction" to correct the misaligned spine. The correction process will not cause pain and is absolutely safe. According to the patient's condition, the misalignment correction is repeatedly to ensure that each vertebra can return to its normal position and no longer rebound.

(3) Exercise and wearing a hunchback harness

We will teach a set of appropriate back exercises, which the patient must practice every day to strengthen the back muscles and stretch the chest and shoulder muscles. If necessary, the patient will wear a back brace to prevent the body from leaning too far forward when doing the exercises.

" A healthy spine means a healthy body!"
